Hi,

I tried making a post rest call to initiate a workflow for an existing work order and I get this error: Error 400: BMXAA4129E

My rest call is similar to this example I found in an article.

i changed MYWF to my actual workflow name and it seems like it’s trying to create a new row rather than initiate work flow.

/maxrest/rest/mbo/wo/1234?wfname=MYWF HTTP/1.1 x-http-method-override: “initiateWorkflow”

 

Any help would be appreciated on what I am doing wrong. Thanks

I have not tried the XML version. The example I have seen having been just changing the status rather than using workflow. Is there a way to change the status using workflow via the rest api?
