I had a request to hide “inactive” storerooms from the list of storerooms by default. However I realized that there is no “status” attribute for storerooms! (they were putting “Do Not Use” in the description)
Is there a way to add a whole “status” setup to Storerooms (like with history and everything else that you have with work orders or such)?

Storerooms ARE locations (they’re stored in the same table with a type of STOREROOM).
I believe we could potentially use the Locations module to change the status of a storeroom (without having to put the Change Status actions into the Storerooms module). However, nothing I have done has made me able to view Storerooms in the Locations module! I tried checking to see if there were default values or something in a “where clause” but nothing showed up anywhere. If you pull up the Select Value menu for location types, “STOREROOM” is not an option that you can see, however if you look at the LOCTYPE synonym domain, STOREROOM IS an option! If we can get the storerooms to show up in the Locations app, I’ll just change the status there and add a filter to the Storeroom app, but I can’t get it to show up!!!

How do you go about doing that? I didn’t see it as a valid option, but perhaps I’m doing it wrong.
