Hi there,
I really need some help with the error mentioned in the title. We’ve set up a study environment in our company and I’m in charge to take care of Maximo 7.1 upgrade to 7.5. We decided to migrate to a Linux 64 bits OS, so I installed an Oracle 11gR2 and a WebSphere 7 in a RedHat 5.5 and imported the database from another VM, still, in my administrative machine, I have the Maximo 7.1 environment. So, now, I’m trying to install the 7.1.1.12 fix pack, but its giving me this error. I tried every possible links that I’ve found in Google about this error and I tried many more workaround methods, no success yet.

Its weird because I can access the Deployment Manager through ThinWsadmin.bat.

I hope someone can help, cause, I’m not so experienced in WebSphere and Maximo…

Here are some screenshots of the fix pack installation process and the ThinWsadmin connection:

Thanks in advance.

We encountered same error during our upgrade. I think after I uninstalled everything and re-installed WebSphere it works.

This link should help you out. You should start installation only once you complete this.

Anyway, really glad that you guys are trying to help! Thx Michael and lohit!

Til now, nothing new, Im working in other activities, but Ill continue with upgrade as soon as possible…
