Hi All

 

I need to modify the self service create requisitions application in maximo 7.5, however the fields in application designer are all read only.

So I exported the presentation xml and the library files and mapped the library code where the presentation xml had the relevant INCLUDE statement.

This allowed me to edit the relevant fields in application designer – however now when testing the application when I get to step 2 – adding a new line.  I recieve a system prompt saying cannot add a new row.  Also I note the field properties set in database administration do not appear to be reflected in the modified app – i.e. MRNUM does not auto number, REQUESTEDBY does not auto populate with user logged in.

However when I return to the original application all functions work without issue?

Any advice would be gratefully recieved.

Hi Chon

I duplicated CREATEDR from within application designer before exporting the presentation xml and the library xml. If that makes sense? :)

I have a similar problem. I would like to change the display name of location field under charge Information to Storeroom. When I look at the library.xml I do not see where I can edit the UI label. Please assist

Hello Ras,

 

If there is not label, it will use the Name of the field from the DB. But you can always include a label yourself which will override the value from the Database COnfiguration.

 

Just include the tags label=” in the XML and import it, it will work.
