Entry Level Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a software engineer with 1-2+ years of professional programming related experience. The right candidate must have excellent, demonstrated problem solving skills. In addition, the candidate must show excellent communication skills as the position requires a certain level of client interaction.

Skill Requirements

  • At least one-year experience working with object-oriented programming languages (preferably Java, C++, or C#)
  • Must have working experience in SQL, Java, C/C++/C#, and HTML
  • Possess knowledge of smartphone (iPhone/iPad, Windows 81+/Windows Phone 81+, or Android) applications and related technologies
  • Knowledge of web technologies (CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XML/XSL, JSON, Spring Framework, and ASP.NET)
  • Comfortable with relational database design (SQL, table design, mapping to objects)
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management software (Maximo, SAP, Infor, or others) is a plus
  • Self-Starter, self-managing with strong initiative, and a team player with an Entrepreneurial Attitude as well as attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new technologies on own without formal training
  • Must be professional and have the ability to write functional definition documents
  • Good customer interfacing skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide clear and detailed written procedures and report
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field (mathematics, EE) / Recent college graduates as well as students scheduled to graduate in May of 2017 will be strongly considered.

iOS Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an iOS Developer who possesses a strong skill set of implementing the latest mobile technologies and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile platform.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and implement company’s existing mobile framework
  • Design and build advanced native app functionalities for the iOS platform
  • Collaborate with engineers of other mobile systems (Android and Windows) in delivering consistent features across platforms
  • Work on native app bug fixes and performance enhancements
  • Discover, evaluate, and utilize new technologies within the mobile landscape
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with company’s customers

Requirements

  • Self-Starter, self-managing with strong initiative, and a team player with an Entrepreneurial
    Attitude as well as attention to detail
  • Proven track record in iOS development and object-oriented programming concepts
  • Must have proven working experience in Objective C
  • Experience working with various iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Graphics, and Core Bluetooth
  • Possess knowledge of smart devices (iPhone/iPad, Windows 81+/10, Windows Phone 81+/10, orAndroid), applications and related technologies
  • Must be comfortable with relational database design (SQL, table design, mapping to objects), have strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XML/XSL, JSON, Spring Framework, and ASP.NET)
  • Demonstrate ability to learn new technologies on own without formal training
  • Must be professional and have the ability to write functional definition documents
  • Have strong client interfacing skills
  • Experience with MDM solutions is a plus
  • Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio and .Net technologies is a plus

Technical Support Engineer

Job Description

Technical Support Engineer is responsible for ongoing daily customer technical support. A technical engineer must interact with customers in a professional manner to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about InterPro Solutions’ products and services.

We are looking for a well-rounded support engineer that has the ability to learn our software. You will be supporting external customers over the phone and email. You will gather information and troubleshoot customer issues by evaluating, analyzing, and identifying symptoms related to our company’s software application. You will be working with our talented software engineers in resolving the identified issues.

This is a full-time position with normal business hours. We provide fantastic benefits and the opportunity to work with an outstanding team.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years in a technical support engineer role
  • Provide customer support via support phone line, email and website
  • Have experience in troubleshooting web applications
  • Possess excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Track and document troubleshooting tasks and activities related to customers’ issues
  • Connect to customers’ servers online to help with InterPro’s software application issues
  • Support internal engineering group to solve customer and product related problems
  • Improve product quality and customer service
  • Work with internal software engineers in helping with testing and QA tasks
  • Have ability to manage priorities, follow-through on issues until closure

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in troubleshooting performance issues with relational databases
  • Experience in troubleshooting networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, Load-balancing)
  • Ability to write small test applications in either Java, C#, or C/C++
  • Familiar with Android, iOS, or Windows mobile application development
  • Experience with the following technologies:
    • Microsoft Operating Systems/Hyper V
    • VMWare (vCenter, vSphere)
    • Linux knowledge a plus

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (required) with focus in information systems / software engineering)
