Entry Level Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a software engineer with 1-2+ years of professional programming related experience. The right candidate must have excellent, demonstrated problem solving skills. In addition, the candidate must show excellent communication skills as the position requires a certain level of client interaction.

Skill Requirements:

  • At least one-year experience working with object-oriented programming languages (preferably Java, C++, or C#).
  • Must have working experience in SQL, Java, C/C++/C#, and HTML.
  • Possess knowledge of smartphone (iPhone/iPad, Windows 81+/Windows Phone 81+, or Android) applications and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (CSS, JavaScript, JSP, XML/XSL, JSON, Spring Framework, and ASP.NET).
  • Comfortable with relational database design (SQL, table design, mapping to objects).
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management software (Maximo, SAP, Infor, or others) is a plus.
  • Self-Starter, self-managing with strong initiative, and a team player with an Entrepreneurial Attitude as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new technologies on own without formal training.
  • Must be professional and have the ability to write functional definition documents.
  • Good customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide clear and detailed written procedures and report.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field (mathematics, EE) / Recent college graduates as well as students scheduled to graduate in May of 2018 will be strongly considered.

Maximo Project Leader

Job Description:

Headquartered in Stoneham, MA InterPro Solutions combines the best practices in operations and maintenance management with leading edge technology to create an unparalleled expertise in corporate asset management.

We are seeking a qualified, motivated and energetic person who has experience in implementing and supporting Maximo (IBM’s maintenance management software).

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients to provide Maximo related hardware sizing, installations, upgrades, performance tuning / health checks, post go-live production maintenance and solution process improvement.
  • Assist in detailed discussions and answer questions regarding client’s Maximo related hardware, software, operating systems, software compatibility and network / database architecture.
  • Work closely with client’s IT department or hosting provider to audit current system and provide documented recommendations for performance tuning and system administration practices.
  • Interact with project team to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of specific client hosting and performance requirements.
  • Ensure timely issue escalation and resolution as well as adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience implementing, supporting and troubleshooting Maximo application environments.
  • Working knowledge of SQL-Server, DB2 and /or Oracle.
  • Ability to develop and execute SQL statements and queries.
  • Working knowledge of Maximo’s reporting capabilities.
  • Self-starter who possesses strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT ARE A PLUS

  • JAVA, C# and /or Objective C experience.
  • Knowledge of common operational and maintenance management best practices.
  • Experience with Maximo related mobile solutions.

Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be an integral part of ensuring our products are robust and coded with the best conventions. You will experience working with the full spectrum of our teams, including the managing partners to decide what new, exciting features to develop and the core engineering team to understand the software code in development. You will be the liaison between development teams to facilitate an organized and streamlined development life cycle.

Responsibilities include (but not limited too):

  • Working with various teams throughout the product feature development life cycle; from the selection of features, to the development effort, to integration testing as the feature is finalized and released.
  • Perform various testing types and techniques such as exploratory, functional, black box, browser compatibility, end-to-end, user acceptance, service level and regression.
  • Develop and execute test scripts/cases based on business requirements, functional and technical requirements, user stories and business use cases.
  • Coordinate QA tasks with team members.
  • Facilitate defect review/triage meetings.
  • Perform regression testing on different builds and maintain the software defect tracking database.
  • Provide QA support for scheduled deployments/releases.

Requirements:

Technical Support Engineer

Job Description:

Technical Support Engineer is responsible for ongoing daily customer technical support. A technical engineer must interact with customers in a professional manner to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about InterPro Solutions’ products and services.

We are looking for a well-rounded support engineer that has the ability to learn our software. You will be supporting external customers over the phone and email. You will gather information and troubleshoot customer issues by evaluating, analyzing, and identifying symptoms related to our company’s software application. You will be working with our talented software engineers in resolving the identified issues.
This is a full-time position with normal business hours. We provide fantastic benefits and the opportunity to work with an outstanding team.
